Part of Dume Office, currently in beta.
.pptx presentation editor in Cowork desktop. It opens and saves real PowerPoint files on your machine, and Dume’s AI copilot is built into the editor itself.
Opening a deck
- Ask in chat: “Create a slide deck about our Q3 launch” opens Dume Slides with a first draft, slides and all.
- New File inside Dume Office for a blank deck.
- Open an existing
.pptxfrom Cowork; it launches in Dume Slides already editable.
What the copilot can do
Because the copilot has the deck open, it can do anything you’d otherwise do by hand: generate a full deck from a prompt, add or reorder slides, rewrite the copy on a specific slide, or redesign the layout. Point it at a specific slide number rather than “fix the deck” for a tighter result.Where it fits with the rest of Dume Office
Dume Slides is.pptx-only; there’s no separate cloud integration for it the way Docs and Sheets have Google equivalents. If your source material lives in Google Docs or Sheets, pull it into a Dume session first, then ask Dume to turn it into a deck in Dume Slides.
