Open MCP Servers

Go to MCP Servers in the sidebar.
2

Enter the server URL

Paste the server’s URL into Connect New Server (for example, http://localhost:8080 or https://mcp.example.com) and click Add Server.
3

Authorize if the server requires it

If the server needs authentication, Dume starts an OAuth flow for it automatically. Servers that don’t require auth connect right away.
4

Confirm it's connected

The server shows as Connected in your list. If something’s wrong, it shows as Needs Auth, Error, or Disconnected instead, with the reason.
5

Use it in chat

Once connected, Dume can call the server’s tools automatically when a request needs them, alongside your native integrations.
There’s no server catalog inside Dume. You provide the URL for a server you already have, whether that’s self-hosted, from your team, or from a public MCP directory you found elsewhere.

Managing a connection

Disable, re-authenticate, or remove a server from the same MCP Servers page at any time.
