1. Navigating to the Workflow Templates

  • Click on the “Workflow” tab in the main navigation menu on the left side of the screen. Screenshot 2025-09-07 at 8.21.23 PM.png
  • This will open the Workflow Studio, which displays a list of available workflow templates.

2. Selecting a Template

  • Scroll through the list of templates to find the one that fits your task. In this example, we’re using the “Company Research” template.
  • Click on the template to view its details. A pop-up window will appear showing a diagram of the workflow’s structure and a description of what it does. Screenshot 2025-09-07 at 8.22.45 PM.png
  • Review the workflow’s structure to understand how the different nodes (tasks) are connected. This template, for instance, uses several nodes to gather information, like “Find News,” “Fetch Funding,” and “Find Competitors.”

3. Running the Workflow

  • Once you’ve reviewed the template and are ready to run it, click the “Run” button in the top-right corner of the screen. Screenshot 2025-09-07 at 8.25.20 PM.png
  • A “Test Run” pop-up will appear, prompting you to enter the required “Input.” For the Company Research template, this input is the “company_domain” you want to research.
  • Type in the company’s domain (e.g., “dume.ai”).
  • Click “Run Workflow.”
  • The workflow will start running, and you’ll see the status of each node change from “Pending” to “Running” and then to “Success” as it completes each task. Screenshot 2025-09-07 at 8.26.09 PM.png

4. Viewing the Results

  • After the workflow finishes, the “Test Run” pop-up will show the “Result.”
  • This result is a summarized output from the workflow, combining the information gathered from all the different nodes into a single, comprehensive document. Screenshot 2025-09-07 at 8.26.58 PM.png
  • You can expand the result to see a more detailed breakdown of the information, including an overview of the company, employee details, and recent news.
  • You can click on the individual nodes in the “Test Run” pop-up (e.g., “Company Summary,” “Additional Summary”) to see the specific output from that particular step.

5. Publishing and Scheduling the Workflow

  • If you’re happy with the results and want to make the workflow available for repeated use, click the “Publish” button. Screenshot 2025-09-07 at 8.28.22 PM.png
  • Once published, you can also schedule the workflow to run automatically at a specific date and time.
  • Click the “Schedule” button and enter the required details, such as the schedule name, run date, and time. Screenshot 2025-09-07 at 8.29.07 PM.png
  • This is useful for tasks that need to be performed regularly, like daily or weekly reports.
